Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Calmate provides bidirectional calendar synchronization between Apple iCloud Calendar and Google Calendar. By using Calmate, you agree to these terms.

2. Account

• You must be 16 years or older to use Calmate
• You are responsible for your account security
• One account per person

3. Calendar Access

Calmate requires access to your Google Calendar (via OAuth) and iCloud Calendar (via App-Specific Password). You grant Calmate permission to read and write calendar events for the sole purpose of synchronization.

Calmate operates on a zero-knowledge basis — we do not store event content. See our Privacy Policy for details.

4. Subscription & Billing

• Calmate Pro costs 5€/month or 48€/year
• Payments processed by Stripe
• Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled
• Cancel anytime — access continues until the end of the billing period
• No refunds for partial billing periods

5. Fair Use

• Maximum 5 calendar pairs per account
• Sync runs approximately every 2 minutes
• Do not use Calmate for automated bulk calendar manipulation

6. Liability

Calmate is provided “as is”. While we work to ensure reliable synchronization:

• We are not liable for missed, duplicated, or lost calendar events
• We are not liable for downtime of Apple or Google services
• Our total liability is limited to fees paid in the last 3 months

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service. Upon termination, all data is deleted per our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before taking effect.
